98.52D maple silage pea has been well tested in
the Canadian Prairies, proving to be a competitive
performer. In Seed Manitoba 2008, the long term forage yield was 105% of 40-10.
98.52D is a long vine, full-leafed, purple-flowered maple pea variety.
98.52D has an indeterminate flowering system,
with profuse branching, competing well and adding protein to mixtures with annual forage grasses, such as barley, oats and triticale.
98.52D is available exclusively through
Johnson Seeds.
98.52D is resistant to powdery mildew, improving yield stability.
