Forage Blends            (10 lbs/ac)

Premium Pasture Blend

50% Meadow Bromegrass
20% Climax Timothy
20% Crested Wheatgrass
5% Creeping Rooted Alfalfa
5% Leo Birdsfoot Trefoil

An ideal pasture blend that will perform well on most types of soils.  It has excellent winter-hardiness and long-term viability. Meadow brome and crested wheatgrass provide early spring grazing and have quick regrowth. Climax timothy is very hardy and will tolerate wet conditions while still providing excellent yields. Creeping rooted alfalfas will tolerate grazing and boost protein levels in feed. Birdsfoot trefoil is a non-bloat legume that is highly nutritious and will perform well in low areas.

20% Smooth Brome
10% Climax Timothy

This blend provides high quality and yield with a good balance of protein and fiber. Adapted to most soil types. Smooth brome and timothy will provide high yields with excellent resistance to lodging. Apica alfalfa is a tap rooted variety with superior quality, yield and winterhardiness. This is an excellent blend for dairy or beef operations.
